A hot spring of Hokuriku

Himi hot spring town (Himi City, Toyama Pref)

At the Himi town located in Northwest Toyama, sea water was shut by a volcanic explosion, and The hot spring was made.
Therefore the feature is that hot water is salty.
The nature of the water of a hot spring is said to be "skin becomes soft and smooth" and is particularly popular with woman customers.
The city coastal place is dotted with a hotel / the private homes providing meals and lodging more than 20. In those hotels, there is the inn where we can command a whole view of Tateyama mountain range from an outdoor bath. We can enjoy mysterious scenery of Tateyama while soaking in the hot spring.

Himi curry
(Himi City, Toyama Pref)

Himi curry is original curry using "the dried small sardines from Himi" and offers an original menu in each restaurant in the city. Including curry and rice, a curry bun, udon, ramen, the kind are abundant. In the edible shop, an uphill flag of "the Himi curry" of the Himi curry society participation shop is a mark.

Kaga-fu course dish
(Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Pref)

The food culture that Kaga-fu represents Kanazawa.
It is used habitually as a preservation meal from feudal clan period.
It is an indispensable cooking ingredient to Kaga dish including JIBUNI now.

Echizen oroshi soba
(Fukui Pref)

A cold buckwheat noodle, grated radish, basic gourmet "Echizen oroshi soba"of Fukui. Echizen City is the birthplace, and there are many buckwheat noodle shops in the city and can eat of each shop tastes. In general, the cold soba is edible in winter as well as summer.
